  Visiting in town and decided to go to a usually reliable establishment. I ordered a happy hour beverage listed in large font on their happy hour menu 9pm-cl. Food was okay, order boneless wings and a few were chewy almost raw like, but as I work in the service industry didn't make a fuss over it. Come bill time I questioned why my drink was more then advertised. The manager came to the table and made it a point about the "small print" (showing me the menu with yes non eye drawing font 7-8pt) for Ohio and how these drinks can't be served after 9pm. She didn't seem to concerned with their advertising and left the table without fixing the situation. Possibly the restaurant I work for is more accommodating, but was not impressed by upper management. Jasmine our server was a delight unlike her superior, due to this I still left a 20% tip.

  Just stay away.
  The steaks my husband and I got were completely unseasoned. The waitress was so uncaring about her job.

  Terrible service consistently over the years. I'd end up here maybe once per year and every time would remember why it took so long to go back. I remember one time late at night over hearing a training class and the manager was so rude. That was probably 5 years ago but the service shows that people hate working there. The food is just whatever.

  First off let me start by saying I was a loyal fan of Applebee's, but every time I let my guard down and think it would get better it doesn't. The quality of the food has gone down just don't seem fresh anymore.
  
  The portions has gotten smaller and the prices has steady increased. The service is ok just depend on the waiter or waitress you get, I've had poor service and I've have good service. The speed of the food is always slow.
  
  The only good thing I can say is that the drinks from the bar are delicious. I think it will take me awhile to go back and give it another try.

  Don't expect too much from Applebee's, and you won't be disappointed.
  
  The ambiance is your typical bar/restaurant and not that different from TGI Friday's and Chili's.
  
  The food is also similar to the above two chains.  They do have a good two for $20/$22 special which includes an appetizer and two entrees from a select list (it does include some decent choices like steak, half rack of ribs, and fajitas).  
  
  We tried the boneless wings starter.  They were decent, fairly juicy, and lightly tossed in buffalo which had a bit of a bite.  Then we had the half rack of ribs and the chicken fajitas.  Both were actually pretty good. The ribs were incredibly tender, and the fajitas were served on a sizzling platter with all the accompaniments to make them how you want them.  
  
  So, overall this was a decent meal but nothing breathtaking.  The meal deal is definitely worth checking out.
